Project type: Spray Paint & Skateboards
Date: 2010+
Location: United States
This project celebrates the energy of public art in its most raw and expressive form.
Executed remotely in collaboration with branded partners, the installation fused skate culture with vibrant street art, transforming an everyday urban space into a hub of movement and creativity.
At the center of the design were large-scale spray-painted elements and custom-built skate ramps, surrounded by interactive platforms, vendor zones, and communal seating. Every visual choice was made to amplify culture, color, and connection. Red Bull branding, structured lines, and modular layout brought commercial precision to an organic street aesthetic.
The challenge was to balance artistic freedom with environmental flow. We treated the space like a living canvas — designing for performance, visibility, and visual storytelling from every angle. This meant aligning creative expression with functional traffic patterns and social interaction zones.
◦ Custom-designed mini ramps with sponsor signage integration
◦ Modular seating and vendor zones for real-time foot traffic
◦ Spray paint installations curated for urban brand alignment
◦ Overhead and ground-level visuals optimized for event coverage
◦ Designed for both daytime and evening public activation
More than an art piece, this was a branded experience.
GreyInDesign’s approach merged technical visualization with cultural storytelling — showing not just what the space looked like, but how it moved, lived, and engaged with the public.
At GreyInDesign, our 3D product renderings transform ideas into photorealistic
visuals designed to captivate, communicate, and sell. Whether you're launching a new item, preparing for packaging design,
or showcasing a prototype, we craft every scene with precision, lighting, and style.
A dynamic public art installation combining street culture, urban design, and branded experience
blending skateboarding, spray paint, and spatial storytelling.
